    Snuggly warm duvet. It’s great but I wish The White Company could make a duvet that didn’t rustle so much. We are getting used to the noise but it happened with our last duvet from here too. Makes me want to stay in bed longer.

    I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your store on 22nd Aug 2024. I purchased a duvet that had to be ordered, which I agreed to, and I paid £240 using my card. However, when I waited for my receipt, the assistant informed me that it hadn’t printed and offered to print it again. Shortly after, she asked me for the £240 again, to which I responded that I had already paid. She acknowledged that I had paid but informed me that I would get my money back within the next five days. I explained that this was not acceptable, as it was not my fault that the payment had to be refunded, and I should not have to wait for my money. The assistant then suggested I come back when I have my money back. When I requested to speak to the manager, the assistant informed me that she was the deputy manager. After expressing my concerns, she called for the store manager. Unfortunately, the store manager also blamed my bank, insisting that the issue was not their fault and advising me to take it up with my bank. I found this response highly frustrating, as the problem clearly originated from the store’s payment system. Moreover, I was treated with a lack of respect and understanding throughout the entire interaction. On the way home, my grandson asked me what a "Karen" was, explaining that it referred to someone who complains a lot. While I had never raised my voice or been rude, I felt deeply insulted that the staff’s behaviour led my grandson to this conclusion. Being labelled in such a way, even indirectly, is demeaning and unacceptable, particularly when I believe I was treated unfairly. This entire experience has left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. Despite being patient and respectful, I was left without a satisfactory resolution and made to feel like my concerns were invalid. To add insult to injury, I have been receiving emails asking for feedback on my experience, which has only served to remind me of how poorly I was treated. I believe I was treated unjustly, and I am requesting that your head office reviews the situation. I kindly ask that you investigate the matter and provide a resolution that compensates for the inconvenience and poor service I received. Additionally, I suggest that your staff receive further training to ensure that other customers do not experience the same treatment. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
