How to style an Easter table

Lighter skies, warmer days and birds welcoming the return of spring. Time for long overdue catch-ups and the enjoyment of hosting. Easter offers a chance to come together and celebrate traditions, while making new memories with friends and family. Whether you’re having leisurely brunches or intimate dinners, our tips bring a sense of occasion to any gathering.

Seasonal blooms

As nature begins to unfold, everything is blooming again. From striking branches to delicate florals, capture the optimism of the season indoors by displaying real or faux foliage. You can even mix the two. Blossom branches are always beautiful, but so delicate that they are short-lived, whereas our Blossom Hand Tied Bunch is faux, so it will last you all season (and next year, and beyond). Play with scale by adding little bud vases to the table, to complement the blossom, and fill them with small flowers from the garden.

Playful details

Bunnies, lambs and chicks, oh my! Easter has an array of adorable animal motifs to add a little extra cheer to mealtimes. However you like your eggs in the morning, keep them deliciously warm with our hand-knitted lamb and chick cosies that snuggly fit over the top. And you can continue that Easter theme with our napkin rings – complete with bunny ears.

Soft hues

Deciding on a simple yet effective colour scheme adds a cohesive feel to any dining table. The shade of our soft-blue linen reminds us of optimistic sunny days and goes so well with our pared-back white stoneware. Placing a table runner in the middle draws the eye to any centrepiece – especially if you want to showcase a dessert or homemade bake. We find nothing brings the family together like the prospect of a slice of cake.
