Portugese made stuff usually has nice material but sadly this material felt pretty rough considering the price (and yes I did wash it before use). Felt more like a £20~30 product - the sewing quality was fine, just naff material.
Last time I purchased fitted cotton bed sheets I ordered one from The White Compbay and another from a different supplier. The difference in quality was amazing: The White Company sheet is superb, super smooth and soft, I actually stopped using the other sheet, it felt scratchy by comparison! I came back to purchase again and can confirm this is fabulous cotton sateen sheet, it is of excellent quality, washes beautifully and feels amazing to sleep on. Very snug fit on my king size size bed as I have a deep mattress so had to tug hard to fit it, this is the extra deep version so maybe could be a little deeper hence have given 4 rather than 5 stars otherwise perfect.
Sheets described as sateen but not sateen at all. Pretty rough and very expensive for rough sheets. Will not buy these again. Wish I had returned them before I washed them.
Super soft and again feels like my bed is in a luxury hotel room. Love it.will buy more.
