Our shorts are made from lightweight and breathable double cotton – ideal for summer. We love pairing with the hand-smocked blouse in delicate vintage-inspired florals, complete with short frill scalloped-edge sleeves, but both items mix and match well with other neutrals in our collection. It’s a great set for hot days when you want them feeling cool and comfy, but still looking put together.
So light it almost floats, double cotton is created using two beautifully fine layers and boasts a lovely relaxed texture, as if it’s been woven with pockets of air. Due to the double-faced nature of this fabric, it will become more textured with washing. We love this crumpled, relaxed look and the fabric will stretch back into shape with wear.
