          Although I returned this lamp it was good quality and looked just as it does in the picture. Unfortunately it didn’t look right where I wanted it to go, but that’s down to my taste.

          Initially, I was attracted to the soft white base. I think it's a beautiful shape and I can't help seeing it as a small, perfectly proportioned sculpture. As for the linen shade, the fabric is almost identical to that on my sofa so this was an important factor. Equally important...........the soft tone of the fabric gives off a lovely warm light. In my view, the vertical lines and overall proportions of the shade compliment perfectly the elegant base. Stir in the warm linen colour with the soft white and I've found my perfect table lamps! Thank you, The White Company.
