The Symons pasta bowls are beautiful when new and extremely hard wearing but I have replaced them three times as they lose their sheen in the dishwasher and go very dull and matte. They do say dishwasher safe but they're definitely not. if you want to keep them looking shiny and new, you will have to hand wash them.
