The bedspread is better than i expected

Great quality love it
I’ve already got one and purchased a second. But this one and the 2 matching cushions arrived with a terrible smell when unwrapped. I’ve had them on the washing line trying to get fresh air to them but the smell is still persisting. The smell is either chemical or stale smoke and I was tempted to return them. I don’t believe I should have to get these items professionally cleaned before use and the quilt is too big for a domestic washing machine. Disappointing!
Love this bedspread. It’s soft and beautiful. I brought a double for my king size bed and it’s plenty big enough. Only downside is the smell, it smells very chemically and too big to put in the washing machine. Hopefully the smell will fade over time.
