SERVING SUMMER

Looking forward to warmer days is something we can all get behind – and, with it, the opportunity to enjoy impromptu patio picnics, lazy lunches in the garden and celebratory meals as the sun sets.

PLAN A PICNIC

Make the most of the weather (and any outside space) and prepare dishes to savour out in the open.

1. Multitasking melamine

Lightweight, yet sophisticated, this portable collection is designed to be used again and again. With a matte-white finish and organic shape, it’s great for alfresco meals.

2. Durable Glassware

Designed with picnics and outdoor use in mind, we’ve crafted tumblers, champagne flutes and more from quality acrylic which rivals the appearance of real glass.

3. A holds-all hamper

Chill drinks with our insulated Willow Hamper. Perfect for two wine bottles, it has a practical strap, so you can take it wherever you go – even if that’s just the garden for now.

LAY A RELAXED TABLE

Enjoy your time at home together with a long, lazy lunch served on oversized platters and generous sharing boards.

1. Mix-and-match tableware

Layer grey and white stoneware for a truly relaxed spread. Produced from a unique Portuguese clay, these robust pieces are made to last.

2. Rustic accessories

Add warmth to your table with woven seagrass accessories. From placemats to candleholders, they’ll add natural charm to your setting.

3. Versatile vases

Flowers create instant joy, so arrange seasonal blooms and foliage in elegant vases and dot them along the table between tall candlesticks.

PAN CON TOMATE

Serves 4

Ingredients

2 pear tomatoes, ripened
Flaky sea salt
4 slices of rustic bread
1 garlic clove, peeled
Arbequina olive oil
Chopped chives

Method

  1. Grate the tomatoes into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, then transfer to a strainer set over a bowl. Leave for 20 minutes so that the tomatoes lose most of their water.

  2. Toast the bread and rub the garlic onto the toast. Top with the tomato flesh.

  3. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle over some salt and finish with chopped chives.

DINE AT DUSK

Mealtimes are meant to be savoured, so settle in for the evening. Enjoy a relaxed, yet refined supper, and make the most of the twilight hours.

1. Natural layers

Our broderie-anglaise tablecloth is the perfect base, while our napkins bring a sun-kissed palette to the table.

2. Fine china

Effortlessly elegant, our Symons Bone China will instantly elevate its surroundings – even more so paired with glistening cutlery.

3. Mercury tealights

Create a magical ambience with the flickering of candlelight. Ideal for setting the mood, our mercury tealights come in varying sizes.
