Luxury in the bedroom

Having a well-made bed always gives us such a sense of pride – a small task in the morning that makes the bedroom into a beautiful relaxing space (that feels even better to retreat to at the end of the day). Working with some of the top textile producers in the world, our sheets are made using the finest yarns and some with special finishes that require skilled expertise from our artisans.

Supima and Egyptian cotton

Cotton is the most widely used natural fiber, but not all of it is created equal. Exclusively grown in American soil, Supima cotton has superior properties conventional cotton doesn’t have – namely, its extra-long staple fibers. This means it’s twice as strong, feels extremely soft and is more resistant to wear-and-tear. Given the resilient nature, our Pembridge range will give you plenty of years of use, while maintaining its softness wash after wash.

Considered one of the world’s finest cottons, Egyptian cotton is more breathable and moisture-wicking than regular cotton. Woven into ultra-smooth sheets, these properties help regulate your body temperature. Plus, Egyptian cotton gets harvested by hand which contributes to the softness of the yarns. Made from a 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton percale our bestselling Savoy is very use-resistant and makes a great all-year-round choice.

Eri silk and hand-finished details

Known for its luster and shine, silk is the epitome of luxury. Eri silk originates from Assam, India and is made from the by-product of the natural cycle of the Eri silkworm. The cocoon can only be harvested once it’s empty, which requires no killing of the insect. This also preserves the natural quality of the threads, and their durable and hypoallergenic properties. With a soft and lustrous matte finish, our premium Alba bed collection is made from an Egyptian cotton and Eri silk blend.

We work with the very best craftspeople who are exceptional at crafting products and finishes that required specific expertise. Made in Vietnam, our popular Santorini collection has a hand-worked ladder stitch on the Oxford border. Using a special technique that’s been passed down through generations, it takes an artisan around seven hours for a pillowcase and around 23 hours for a duvet cover, to apply this exquisite handmade detail.
