TOPPERS AND PROTECTORS CARE GUIDE

Caring for your mattress topper or protector

One of the benefits of using a mattress topper, or protector, is that it’s much easier to clean than your mattress. Follow our care recommendations, to make sure they stay in the best possible condition.

Natural-filled mattress topper

How to air

• To care for your natural mattress topper, we recommend airing outdoors frequently, as fresh air draws out trapped moisture, refreshes and restores natural fluffiness and heat retention. However, do not leave in direct sunlight.

How to wash

• Spillages can be easily sponged clean.

• If the mattress topper is always covered with a mattress protector, or sheet, it won’t need thoroughly cleaning very often.

• If you do wish to clean it, we recommend professional laundering for the best-possible results.

• To wash at home, remove the top layer and machine wash at 60°C. Wash the base at 40°C, using a mild, non-biological detergent.

How to dry

• We have developed our range to be suitable for domestic tumble dryers. However, for the best possible results and durability, we recommend professional laundering.

• To dry at home, tumble dry on a low heat until thoroughly dry. Check your machine capacity and dry the two layers separately.

Synthetic mattress topper

How to wash

• We recommend professional laundering for the best-possible results.

• To wash at home, check your machine capacity and always check each care label for individual wash instructions and temperature guide.

• Use a mild, non-biological detergent and do not bleach.

How to dry

• Tumble dry on a low heat, until thoroughly dry.

• Remove from the dryer and shake a few times during the cycle to redistribute the filling evenly.

• Do not iron, or dry clean.

Waterproof mattress protector

How to wash

• The waterproof lining will protect against light spills. Spills should be absorbed, and then the protector should be removed and washed as soon as possible.

• Machine wash up to 60°C using a mild, non-biological detergent and do not bleach.

How to dry

• Tumble dry on a low heat, until thoroughly dry.

• Remove from the dryer and reshape while still damp.

• Do not iron, or dry clean.

Cotton mattress protector

How to wash

• Due to the inherent nature of cotton, our protectors are slightly generous in size which allows for shrinking during the first wash. This will ensure a perfect fit to your mattress, or pillow, after the first and subsequent washes.

• Machine wash up to 40°C on a gentle cycle.

• Do not bleach.

How to dry

• Tumble dry on a low heat, until thoroughly dry.

• Do not iron, or dry clean.

We recommend washing mattress toppers and protectors every 6 months.
